
[RECIPE] Rice Croquettes
Ketchup flavored rice with melting cheese, coated in a golden panko crust, Rice Croquettes make for the perfect snack or appetizer. Bring out your leftover rice, let’s make this delicious fusion of rice dish.

Ingredients:

3 cups cooked Rice

¼ pc Onion
-
3 pcs Ham
-
1 tbsp Worcester Sauce
-
2 tbsp Ketchup
-
10-12 pcs Cheese (Brie, Mozzarella, or your choice)

1/3 cup Flour
-
1 pc Egg
-
2 cups Panko
-
Cooking oil
-
Parmesan cheese
-
Ketchup
-
Salt and pepper
Instructions:

Chop onion, and cut ham into small pieces.

In a heated pan, add some cooking oil and stir fry the onion, then add ham.

In a large bowl, add cooked rice, the stir-fried onion with ham, Worcester sauce, ketchup, salt and pepper and mix well.

Take a spoonful of the rice onto your palm, spread it out and place a small piece of the cheese, then cover it with more rice, making it into a golf ball sized rice ball.

Prepare the egg by beating it in a bowl, flour in a separate bowl, and Panko as well.

Start heating the cooking oil in a deep-frying pan.

Take the rice ball, coat it with flour, then dip it in the beaten egg, transfer it to Panko and ensure to cover it well.

Add the coated rice balls in the heated oil, deep-fry until it’s golden crispy.

Place them on a plate, sprinkle some parmesan cheese and ketchup for the topping.
